The Bank Demonstration

The Bank Demonstration
A Locked Fortune
Vivisari discovers that her bank account survived the century but has been sealed as historically preserved property. The teller cannot authorize access, leaving her without the money she expected to use.
A Terrible Proof
To prove her identity, she displays her legendary spells and destroys a section of wilderness with Kaelum’s Thousand-Year Pyre. The proof succeeds, but it terrifies the teller and compromises her attempt at discretion.
The Cost of Power
The scene establishes a recurring pattern: Vivisari solves ordinary problems with extraordinary force, then regrets the social consequences. Her power is reliable; her judgment in public remains uncertain.
The Guild Registration

The Guild Registration
A Beginner’s Badge
At the Adventurer's Guild, Vivisari asks basic questions about ranks and monster parts. Her ignorance makes her appear suspicious even while her magical competence places her far above the local hierarchy.
A Convenient Identity
After helping capture Morningstar criminals, she receives an accelerated gold-rank registration under the name Vivienne. The badge becomes a small shield between the mythic Sorceress and her ordinary movements.
A Failed Disguise
The registration does not truly hide her. The guildmaster, guards, appraisers, and prisoners all recognize that she is far beyond gold rank, while the city begins treating her as a person of dangerous importance.
